A powerful hydraulic levelling and stabilising system for caravans

The Kwikee levelling system eliminates back-breaking escapades of manual levelling and stabilising your caravan, and allows you to have your caravan level and stable in a few minutes - at the press of a button!

The Kwikee hydraulic levelling system stabilises and levels the caravan by using oil pressure to operate a number of cylinders.
There are 2 hydraulic rams fitted directly to the axle of the caravan.  4 replacement corner steadies, including hydraulic cylinders, push down the corner steady legs and support the levelling caravan..

The  axle is intentionally used to level the caravan as this is the only effective way of absorbing the forces that levelling involves.
Upon arrival at the campsite, a simple press of the button will level and stabilise it.  The caravan will first be levelled side-to-side and then front-to-back.
A control unit with integrated electronic levelling sensor monitors the movements and the caravan can be levelled to a maximum angle of 8%.
The supports can also be operated separately using the remote control, which also allows the caravan to be raised on one side only.
The additional use of levelling blocks will enable the caravan to be raised up to 20cm.

The four hydraulic cylinders replace the standard thread shafts in the stabilising supports. These "hydraulic" stabilising supports allow the whole caravan to be manually or automatically stabilised and levelled
front-to-back.

The 2 main supports are mounted to the axle of the caravan. This enables the whole caravan to be raised and manually or automatically stabilised and levelled side to side. For every type of axle the various caravans have, special brackets are available which are then supplied with the system.

(In wet conditions we recommend placing a piece of wood under the hydraulic levelling rams to spread the load.)

The pump unit is mounted together with its control unit in a special casing.  This casing is mounted underneath the bottom of the caravan.  An electronic levelling sensor measures the position of the caravan and levels it automatically.

  • The levelling system is used to level and stabilise the caravan.
  • It is possible to level the caravan on a slope of a maximum of 8%.
  • The electronic spirit level ensures that the caravan is levelled across the width by means of axle supports and is pushed out of the suspension for stability.
  • Next, the caravan is levelled with the corner supports along the longitudinal direction and the whole caravan is stabilised  -  with one press of the button!
  • Radiographic remote control.
  • Electronic control including levelling sensor.
  • On/Off and emergency switch - child-proof!
  • 12v DC hydraulic pump with electric valves and cable tree.
  • Complete set of hydraulic hoses and couplings.
  • The 2 main supports are mounted to the caravan.
  • 4 cylinders, interchangeable with the thread shafts.

The complete system constitutes an additional weight of approximately 18kg.

The Kwikee levelling system consists of the following parts:

THEFT DETERRENT!

As the caravan is levelled on hydraulics, the caravan cannot be moved by potential thieves.

Changing a Puncture

The hydraulic rams can be used to lift the wheels off the ground to mend a puncture.  No need to break your back jacking up the caravan!
